Welcome

Hello and a warm welcome. I’m Fareen, a BACP registered therapist working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, even when you’re doing your best to keep things together. You might feel stuck in the same patterns, unsure how to move forward, or carrying things that still affect you more than you’d like.

If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to go through it alone.

I offer a supportive, confidential space where we can begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing and what might help.

You might be coming to therapy if:

  • You feel pulled in different directions and aren’t sure what feels right for you anymore

  • You feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward

  • You notice patterns in your relationships that leave you feeling misunderstood or not fully yourself

  • You’re carrying something from the past that still affects you now

  • You’re questioning parts of your life and want space to explore things openly

Whatever brings you here, we can take the time to understand it at your pace.

What does therapy with me look like?

Therapy with me is real. It can be nurturing, empowering, and hopeful—but also honest, challenging, and courageous.

There isn’t a quick fix, but you don’t have to do this alone.

I offer a space where you can explore yourself more fully, at your own pace. Taking a holistic approach, we may look at the connection between your thoughts, emotions, body, and sense of meaning - however that feels relevant to you.

Together, we can begin to understand what’s been holding you back, and gently move away from self-criticism toward greater clarity, compassion, and a stronger sense of who you are.

How I work

I take a relational, integrative approach, drawing on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and CBT approaches. This means our work is shaped around you, rather than fitting you into a single model.

I place our relationship at the centre of the work, offering a space where you can speak openly and explore what’s coming up for you in the moment. Over time, this can lead to greater clarity, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
