Welcome to Point in Time Counselling — a place to pause, reflect, and discover what you need to build the life you deserve.
About me
Hello, and welcome to my page. I’m Fareen, a psychotherapist committed to supporting you through life’s difficult moments. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, major life changes, or feelings of being stuck, there often comes a moment when we need to pause and ask, “What can I do to create change?”
I’m here to support you exactly where you are, helping you navigate through challenges and discover a path towards transformation and greater fulfilment.
Change can feel scary - but it doesn’t have to be.
Over 60% of UK adults (3 in 5) who have felt lonely say they’ve never told anyone about it. You don’t have to face it alone—you can be part of the 40% who reach out and find support.
What can you expect?
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to wonder what it will be like. You’ll have space to explore what’s on your mind at your own pace—whether that’s something specific, or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel right.
In our sessions, we’ll explore fresh perspectives and deepen your understanding of yourself, opening space for new possibilities to emerge.
We’ll work together to create clear, actionable steps for your growth, while exploring how to move through life’s challenges with more ease and self-compassion.
How I work
I take an integrative and relational approach, drawing from CBT, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Gestalt therapies to tailor sessions to your needs. In our work together, we focus not only on building skills and insight, but also on how you feel, respond, and relate in the therapy room.
These patterns often reflect those in your life outside of sessions, and by exploring them together, we can gently uncover where they come from, how they may be helping or holding you back, and what might need to shift — fostering greater self-awareness and supporting more conscious, empowered choices in your relationships and daily life.
