Welcome to Point in Time Counselling — a place to pause, reflect, and discover what you need to build the life you deserve.

Welcome

Hello and a warm welcome to my website. My name is Fareen and I am a BACP registered therapist working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.

Life can feel heavy sometimes - anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, or big life changes can leave you worn down, even if you’re getting through the days on the outside.

There often comes a point in time - a moment when you feel like something needs to shift, and you’re ready for change. That’s where we meet and begin our work together.

Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, notice what might be keeping you stuck, and take steps toward feeling lighter, steadier, and more confident in yourself and your choices.

What can you expect?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s normal to wonder what it will be like. You’ll have space to share what’s on your mind at your own pace—whether it’s something specific or just a sense that something doesn’t feel right.

Together, we’ll explore what you need right now and support you to build the tools to take the next step.

This journey is about discovering a more fruitful way of living that feels right for you.

How I work

I am an integrative counsellor working holistically and relationally, paying attention to your mind, body and emotional experience. I work collaboratively, shaping our sessions around what feels most important to you. By exploring patterns in how you feel, relate and respond - both in our work together and in your life outside the therapy room - we can notice patterns and build awareness of what might need to shift.
